THE EFFECT OF USING GOOGLE CLASSROOM DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC TOWARD STUDENTS MOTIVATION IN ENGLISH LEARNING AT THE ELEVENTH GRADE OF SMK N 2 TEBO (EX POST FACTO RESEARCH)

Rati Aprilia Rubianti (NIM. 1703021003). The Effect Of Using Google Classroom During The Covid-19 Pandemic Toward Students Motivation In English Learning At The Eleventh Grade Of SMK N 2 Tebo. English Education Department. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. Universitas Dharmas Indonesia.
This study aims to determine the effectivenes of E-Learning learning during the Covid-19 pandemic and to see the effect after learning using Google Classroom on students' learning motivation in English lessons in class XI TKR 1 SMK N 2 Tebo district. This study employs a quantitative approach, with the research method used is the Ex Post Facto research. In obtaining research data using a questionnaire sheet and conducting interviews. The sampling technique used in this study is random sampling technique. With 30 students as the subject. The study concludeds that the selection of Google Classroom as an alternative learning media during the Covid-19 pandemic did not have a significant impact on increasing students' motivation to learn English. Based on the calculation of simple linear regression, it can be seen that the Sig value of 0.363 > 0.05 which indicates that there is no significant effect on the use of Google Classroom on increasing students' learning motivation. Thus, the conclusion of the hypothesis is that Ha is rejected and Ho is accepted.
